This part is all about me.
I started my radio career back in 1973 while in high school as an Boy Scout Explorer member at KYTE FM in Livermore California. After graduating high school in Ukiah California, I studied radio broadcasting at Bellevue Community College, KBCS in Bellevue Wa, the Ron Bailie School Of Broadcast in Seattle and Spokane Washington. Worked part time for public broadcast station KRAB F.M. in Seattle. Commercial stations, KXXR, KXLY, and KGA in Spokane. KMTX in Helena Montana, KXLO, Lewistown Montana, KDBI, KDLN in Dillon Montana. KGWY, KIML, Gillette Wyoming. KLGT, Buffalo Wyoming. In 1993 I moved to metro Atlana. WEBS, Calhoun, Ga. South 107 and WRGA, Rome. WLAQ Rome.
Produced weekly TV news show for CABLE 10 at WEBS, Shot video while at WGRA for WSB TV in Atlanta and the Channel 2 Action News Radio Network.
At various stations over the years, I served as disc jockey, news director, music director, program director. After 25 years in terrestrial radio, my focus is now on the emerging world wide internet radio market with co ownership of the Country Gold Network.
I own and operate Karaoke Tonight in the Tri Cities of Washington state and My Dana's Jewelry, marketing beautiful jewelry crafted by my wife Dana. I also write monthly articles for the Seattle based Karaoke and Live Entertainment Guide.
